WOLF FITNESSWolf Fitness is a private fitness studio. We offer group fitness classes, personal training, partner training, sports performance training, and Hypervolt Vibration Myofascial Release. Our goal is to change your view on fitness so that it becomes apart of who you are and your lifestyle.

Our heads weigh between 10 – 14 pounds. That’s a bowling ball. When people have improper posture and lean forward with their shoulders rolled studies show that every inch you lean your head forward you add 10 pounds of tension to your neck and traps have to support. It will also change the positioning of your scapula and rotator cuff that can lead to impingements and cervical issues.

This is why it’s important when beginning to workout to focus on foundational patterns and corrective movements for new clients before you throw a lot at them.

Many people don’t know that stress doesn’t just affect posture, but it works the other way. Posture can affect stress levels. So for instance, if you have these forward rounded shoulders, you’re collapsed inward and your diaphragm can’t fully expand. So now your body’s getting a signal all day long. “I don’t have enough oxygen!” So hormonally, there’s more cortisol and norepinephrine in these stress hormones release attacking your adrenal glands. This can add to increased weight gain, insulin issues, and thyroid issues. So as you’re doing these correctives movements, you open that chest cavity back up, now you’re able to get more oxygen in the body.

Lilla talks about some of the cultural differences in health and nutrition in Hungary versus the US.

Mike shares about the origin of Wolf fitness. Wolves never lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.
