We are back in the studio discussing the topic of if you could invest into your health and nutrition what would be some of the top three purchases you could make?

If you could make one purchase to invest in fitness for less than $100 what would it be? A thigh master? Probably not. A good set of bands is an excellent way to maximize your time working out in your home gym or on the go. 

1. A good set of resistance bands.

If you want a good laugh, check out this video on youtube about Squat Magic. There are a lot of gimmicky products out there, but a good set of bands can be a very wise investment. Check out the POWER GUIDANCE bands.

Bands can help with the strength curve. With a bicep curl, once you get to the top of the movement the exercise gets easier, essentially giving you a break at the top of the movement. Whereas with bands the movement gets more difficult at the peak of the movement.

They can also be used with existing equipment like assisted pull-ups. With the purchase of a couple of eye hooks you can create an adjustable pulley system.

3. Join a pick-up sports game or recreational league in your area
