Bison Tacos or Lettuce Wraps

Mexican tacos

Ingredients

1 lbs. ground bison or grassfed beef (can also use chicken or shrimp)
1 onion
1-2 bell peppers
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 pack Siete Grain free tortillas
Romaine Lettuce
1 jar of salsa
*cilantro (optional if you like it)

The following seasonings to taste:
cumin poweder (will use a lot of)
chile powder
sea salt
black pepper
garlic powder
cayenne
paprika

Preparation

-In a pan, saute peppers and onions in avocado oil in a pan on medium heat and season with salt, pepper and other desired spices
-In another pan, brown bison meat in a pan with cumin, chile powder, sea salt, pepper, garlic pepper and cayenne to taste
(you can either do lettuce wraps, or go to whole foods, weaver street market, or wegman’s and pick up a pack of Siete tortillas which are free of all hormonal disruptors and are made with avocado oil and coconut flower as opposed to wheat grain and corn.)
-If Doing tortillas, heat these up for a minute or two each side with a drop of olive oil and sea salt.
-If doing wraps, rinse romaine lettuce and pull apart big leaves to use as shells
-Add on Salsa, sautéed onions, and sliced avocado and any other taco toppings you like such as avocado, mushrooms, lettuce, salsa, cilantro etc…
-Enjoy!
